Oak Beach Inn (Democrat Point Inlet, North Side)
Steve Abrams is again volunteering his time and expertise in leading our seining trip this year. It is scheduled for Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 am near Oak Beach Inn (Democrat Point Inlet, North Side). The tide will be low at about 12:45 pm so we are planning to work the out going tide.
We will be meeting at the Oak Beach Inn parking lot and then traveling west bound to the seining area. Last year we had a ball gathering many species, and according to Steve this year appears to be even better! If you plan on keeping any of the catch please make sure that you have an aquarium set up a few weeks prior to the trip and bring a bucket with air provisions to take your fish home safely in.
Jon Schweikert will be bringing a small seine and Steve will be bringing a few larger ones. Don't forget to bring any food, water and sun tan lotion you may need.
